ACTORS
| 1. |
Prepare two minutes worth of material that
you feel accurately demonstrates your talents. This material can be whatever
you wish: a collection of previous video clips compiled into a two minute
segment, a monologue (maybe two contrasting monologues), juggling, or any
other special talents will be accepted. *Please no nudity or crude behavior;
tapes including this material will not be posted. Create a positive image
for yourself. |

Video tape this material including a full
name introduction at either the beginning or the end of the piece. If you
do not have access to video equipment, Iowa Casting will have Open Video
Calls in various cities across the state each year; these open calls will
be announced on this website's homepage, as well as in local newspapers.
Tapes can be in VHS or DVD format.
*Your full name introduction will be edited out
to protect your privacy. |

Submit your video, headshot, and completed
Submission Form to "Iowa Casting, 4221 Amesbury
Drive, Bettendorf, IA 52722".
NOTE: If you come to an Open Video Call please do the following:

Bring a photo of yourself (this does not
need to be a professional headshot). |
| b. |
Fill out the
Submission Form. This form will be available
at the calls and online on the Submissions
page. |

All of this is free. If you choose to mail
your video directly to Iowa Casting, your only cost is shipping and
handling. |
| 5. |
Your online profile will be available online
within 2-4 weeks of receiving your video, headshot, and completed Submission
Form. This profile will include such information as your first name, age,
height, weight (optional), hair color, eye color, as well as your headshot
and video. Your contact information will not be listed on the website. |
| 6. |
You may continue to use Iowa Casting.com
as a database for open casting calls in the area (be sure to periodically
check the Open Calls page), but you have also
opened yourself up for being invited to read for specific parts around Iowa.
Production companies will view the videos on this website before casting
their next projects. If they are interested in your talent, they will contact
Iowa Casting with their projects details; IowaCasting forwards this information
to you. If the project sounds interesting, you merely need to reply with
"I am interested. Give (the production company) my information." This system
provides you with discretion about who receives your contact information,
thus protecting your privacy while displaying your talents to people across
Iowa. |

You may use this website as both a database
of local talent, and a tool for announcing casting calls. |

If interested in actors on this database,
you must simply follow some easy steps in order to invite them to your audition,
or offer them a part.

E-mail IowaCasting

with information about the project; including filming/theater locations,
approximate length of commitment, character information, and whether or not
actors will be paid (how much). Don't forget to include which actors you
are interested in. List actors by first name and age. |

At this point Iowa Casting will e-mail the
prospective talent with your information. If they are interested and they
give me permission, you will receive their contact information. |

To have open casting calls included on the
website e-mail me the information you would like to be posted and I will
post it for you. |
